Did you know that UHC considers toenail fungus to be a cosmetic
condition and therefore doesn't cover treatment of the condition.
To get it covered, you have to tell your Dr. that it is painful,
and you are having difficulty walking, or have to wear special shoes, etc.
And if you do per chance get treatment covered, then try to get the
medication your Dr. perscribes. Like Lamisil or Sporonox. They need to
be prior approved by UHC. To get them approved, you have to use an
archaic medication first that no Dr. ever perscibes any more.
